Generation Gap Is a serious Issue - How it can be removed?

Nowadays the generation gap has come out to become a serious issue. Yes, it becomes so serious that can be seen socially. Generation gap is a term given to an ideology, thought & habit. The gap is influenced by the traditions & the present environments. The people’s lifestyle is changing daily. A Man has reached to the moon with its innovation & discovery. To earn money & lavishing life standards he forget something is missing behind. Generation gap is a societal affairs in which there is a difference in the belief & act of a father & a son or may be it would be between person & its grandparents. The difference is increasing day by day with the passage of time. This will lead to a situation of isolation in their progress & development.

Both the generation have different opinion &  views. If we talk about the earlier people. Let’s take an example of me & my grandfather. Where I used to buy a product in an online way while my grandfather still believes to buy it from Brick & Mortar store. I can buy a product from online purchase using coupons on Black Friday Sale. Where they are not aware about these. If we take an example of daily life, then you may find various ample of examples.

Reason of Generation Gap

The reason of generation gap could be many but one of the main differences is the belief of both the side. Talk about the elder ones, they believe in traditions, static & unwilling to accept new ways & ideas, whereas the young generation is too fast, aggressive & impatient. Although, the difference is not only the issue of present time but it is prevailing from earlier times also. Elder people, always talk about the sanskar & tradition( riti  riwaz) to follow. It is good to follow riti riwaz but not for the sake on the false belief. The tradition & culture are here for us, but we are not for us. To some extent those older folks tradition are so screwed even. Like Inter caste marriage should not be allowed, etc, etc. On the other hand Young generation are too fast & aggressive that they would not like to compromise. It is a good thing that works, but being reckless often leads to bigger problems. Being an arrogant towards your elder is not a good way that you are progressive.

How To Solve Generation Gap Issue?

Here, one generation (elder) who is traditional, static & unwilling to accept the changes & the other generation (young generation) which is fast, smart. Aggressive & impatient. Both are lacking in some way or the other. Where young generation have strong tendency to work hard while the elder ones have great perseverance. Success will come to those who have both quality smart worker with great perseverance. Young one should take the guide from their elder people. The should guide them to opt the right way for success. Without each other, they both remain incomplete. That’s why a family is said to in-complete without elder people’s as they have seen so many ups & downs. Though, they are aware of their past times hardship. They can guide them in a better & effective manner. While the elder ones need to change themselves- being updated with the latest technology & systems foreg using mobile apps for cash transfer instead of giving heavy printed papers. For this young generation sympathisize them & respect their views. Young generation should help them out by making them aware of day to day upgradations. For eg: provide them smartphones tell you grandparents to use them, opening their facebook , twitter or Instagram account. Be frank towards your parents but in a respected way.

The elder’s & young generation both should respect & understands each other opinions. Only then, the generation gap could be removed.
